Over a year of going back and forth on what to write on this blog and how to make a mundane quarantine seem even the least bit interesting. To be short, I didn’t want to blog about making bread and 5 DIY tips to maintain mental health during a pandemic. My Quarantine was spent private beaches, an excessive amount of crab legs, wineries and reevaluating my love life and questioning my work life. I learned a lot about myself and reshaped what work & fun means to me while reshaping my goals. One thing has absolutely remained the same, my desire for a relaxing, indulgent life next to a beach and a glass of wine near by. My current goal is to not only share this lifestyle, but continue the idea that black women can indeed create a life that they enjoy and doesn’t revolve around navigating the world in constant survival mode.
