Lisbon, With Love

Lisbon. The first time I’ve traveled internationally, alone. I went here with zero expectations, of course I did research to see how safe the area was, but I didn't know what to expect. I booked a stay at The Late Birds Hotel, a Gay Resort (heads up, gay in Europe still means gay, not happy).

I wish I could put into words how great this trip felt. The food was impeccable ( Time Out Market is a local attraction) and the views were gorgeous. Aside from just galavanting around and seeing what Lisbon had to offer, I went on a yacht tour off the coast of Lisbon, I even tried out kayaking in Sesimbra and found out about Pink Street’s Red Light District history. I’m most likely the least athletic person that I know, however I’ve been on a huge life high and want(ed) to do as may things possible even if they weren’t “Normal Jade” activities. So here’s to life, food and travel.
